The Carmel Police Department confirmed the suspect’s arrest and shared details in a Facebook post. According to authorities, the incident occurred on Friday night (May 23) at approximately 10:44 p.m. after they received multiple emergency calls reporting a stabbing at a brewery on Meeting House Road. Callers stated that a male suspect had stabbed another man in the back and was still at the location. When officers arrived, they quickly detained the suspect and began administering medical aid.\u201cThe investigation revealed that two individuals were injured during the altercation. One male sustained a stab wound to the back and was transported to a local hospital. A second male suffered a stab wound to the lower leg and later sought medical attention on his own,\u201d police said in their statement. Following the incident, the suspect was taken to the Carmel Police Department for questioning and was later booked into the Hamilton County Jail on the following charges: battery by means of a deadly weapon, basic battery offense, and disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n
