That\u2019s\u00a0what Minnesota Timberwolves star and 2026 All-Star MVP\u00a0Anthony Edwards<\/a>\u00a0is doing in his young career.\u00a0As a part of Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Edwards was able to take lessons from the older generation of stars, such as\u00a0Steph\u00a0Curry<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cPlaying with the USA team, it taught me about having a routine, especially when it comes to being on the court,\u201d Edwards explained to reporters following the All-Star game Sunday. \u201cBecause, like, watching\u00a0Steph, [Kevin Durant]\u00a0and\u00a0[LeBron\u00a0James]\u00a0every day do the same routine\u00a0\u2013\u00a0it’s\u00a0normal for a person to get bored with the same thing; waking up, doing this, every single day.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cBut I feel like\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0what made them great. That\u2019s\u00a0what they taught me for sure.”\u00a0<\/p>\n Curry is regarded as\u00a0one of the best-conditioned players in the NBA<\/a>.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0what allows him to produce magical moments well into\u00a0his 30s.\u00a0<\/p>\n Edwards got a first-hand look at the magic in Paris, when Curry\u00a0scored 24 points, all on 3-pointers, in the\u00a0Gold Medal Game against France<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The meticulous routine\u00a0isn\u2019t\u00a0the only thing Edwards took away from playing with Curry. Edwards noted that\u00a0he\u00a0learned how to play without the ball<\/a>\u00a0by playing with Curry, another of the Warriors star\u2019s notable attributes.\u00a0<\/p>\n The four-time All-Star is averaging a career-high 29.3 points per game for the Timberwolves this season. Last season, following his Olympic appearance with Curry, he led the NBA with 320\u00a03-pointers made.\u00a0<\/p>\n The sky is the limit for Edwards if he continues to take note of Curry\u2019s game.\u00a0<\/p>\n
