Former Colorado<\/a> forward Jabari Walker is staying with the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> for a bit longer.<\/p>\n The Sixers are expected to sign Walker to a two-year contract after he impressed the front office during his two-way contract. Walker earned a rotation spot this season while averaging 3.7 points per game to go along with 3.1 rebounds per game in 45 games played.<\/p>\n For Colorado fans, the news marks another milestone for one of the program’s more recent stars. Walker spent two seasons in Boulder from 2020-22, developing into a key player for Tad Boyle’s program and one of the Pac-12’s better wing players. During his final season in Boulder, Walker earned All-Pac-12 First Team honors after averaging 14.6 points and a league-best 9.4 rebounds per game.<\/p>\n Walker declared for the NBA draft following his breakout sophomore campaign, becoming a second-round pick by the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> in 2022.<\/p>\n Now with his second professional team, Walker is finding stability with a two-year commitment from the Sixers.<\/p>\n Need a news break?
