Playing out across NBC and Peacock from February 13-15, this year\u2019s NBA All-Star week served up a fun new twist on the annual All-Star game formula, crowning a title team as part of a USA vs. World mini-tournament that showcased the best of the league\u2019s American and international talent. Along the way, the NBA crowned a new Slam Dunk champion, a 3-Point contest winner, an All-Star MVP and much more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Who won the 2026 NBA All-Star Game?<\/p>\n

Team USA Stripes came home with the win in the “U.S. vs. World” round-robin format.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s 24 NBA All-Star player selections squadded up to join a trio of 8-member teams that had to earn their final spot at the end of a one-day mini-tournament. Themed around three teams<\/a> that each gave its own unique nod to both American and international players, the field featured \u201cTeam Stars\u201d (made up of veteran U.S. All-Stars), \u201cTeam Stripes\u201d (filled with younger U.S. All-Star standouts), and a \u201cWorld\u201d team boasting all the All-Star Game\u2019s top players from all around the globe.\u00a0<\/p>\n

So which group prevailed at the end of the day? Youth won out at this year\u2019s NBA All-Star Game, where the younger members of Team Stripes left no doubt in a commanding 47-21 thumping of their older NBA colleagues on Team Stars.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The headlining championship contest between Team Stripes and Team Stars came at the end of an action-packed mini-tournament whose three play-in matchups were far more competitive than the lopsided finale. Team Stars eked out a 37-35 win over Team World in the opening contest, only to fall to Team Stripes by a tight margin, followed by a third game in which Team Stripes eliminated Team World by a 48-45 score.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Who won MVP honors at the 2026 NBA All-Star Game?<\/p>\n

The Minnesota Timberwolves\u2019 Anthony Edwards.<\/p>\n

Each mini-game in the USA vs. World tournament was only a scant 12 minutes long \u2014\u00a0but the entire tournament played out like a scoring free-for-all. The Minnesota Timberwolves\u2019 Anthony Edwards<\/a> notched a grand total of 32 points for Team Stars across his squad\u2019s three tournament games. Combined with his 9 rebounds and 3 assists, it made for an All-Star effort: When the dust had finally settled, Edwards took home the Kobe Bryant Trophy as the league\u2019s 2026 NBA All-Star MVP.<\/p>\n

3-Point contest, Slam Dunk & more: The rest of the winners from the 2026 NBA All-Star Game<\/p>\n

Sunday\u2019s NBA All-Star Game put a fun exclamation point on a full weekend of commemorative games, events, and skills contests inside this year\u2019s All-Star venue at the Intuit Dome (and neighboring Kia Forum) in Inglewood, California. But there was plenty more NBA fun to be found on the court during\u00a0NBA All-Star Saturday<\/a>, held on the eve of this year\u2019s All-Star Game. Here’s a peek all of Saturday’s big event winners:<\/p>\n

3-Point Contest<\/p>\n

The 3-Point contest was easily the hottest game in town during All-Star Saturday\u2019s competitive mix of NBA events. Despite missing the current season with an Achilles injury, the Portland Trail Blazers\u2019 Damian Lillard<\/a> showed up and showed out for the 3-Point contest, edging out the Phoenix Suns\u2019 Devin Booker to claim behind-the-arc bragging rights.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Slam Dunk<\/p>\n

The Miami Heat\u2019s Keshad Johnson<\/a> turned the most heads to win the 2026 Slam Dunk contest, catching big air against the San Antonio Spurs\u2019 Carter Bryant in the night\u2019s final one-on-one matchup. Carter posted a perfect score on his earliest attempt, but came up short against Johnson\u2019s ace acrobatics \u2014 which included smooth through-the-legs move into a reverse dunk to seal the victory.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shooting Stars<\/p>\n

Saturday\u2019s Shooting Stars<\/a> event marked its welcome return to NBA All-Star weekend after an 11-year absence. A timed shooting contest between four teams of three players each, Shooting Stars puts skills on display through an increasingly tough gauntlet of challenges from all around the court.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Each Shooting Stars team featured a nice mix of current and past players, and for its 2026 comeback, it was Team Knicks (made up of New York Knicks legend Allan Houston plus current stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns) who came out on top. Team Knicks looked clutch in the night\u2019s final shootout against the members of Team Cameron (made up of players with Duke University ties), posting 47 points to Team Cameron’s 38 to notch the decisive win.
