The 76ers <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/philadelphia-76ers\/76ers-news-quentin-grimes-gets-100-real-increased-role-paul-george-suspension\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">will be without Paul George<\/a> for a few more weeks as he serves his league suspension, and the team is hoping that big man <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/players\/bafc0a09\/joel-embiid\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Joel Embiid<\/a> can stay healthy down the stretch.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, on Wednesday, the team got <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KyleNeubeck\/status\/2024245149665034405\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a rough update<\/a> on Embiid for their upcoming home game against the Atlanta Hawks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoel Embiid is OUT vs. Atlanta tomorrow,\u201d reported Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>The 76ers reported that Embiid \u201creported soreness in his right shin\u201d over the break, and that he \u201creceived daily treatment, while progressing through on-court work and strength and conditioning,\u201d per Neubeck.<\/p>\n<p>They added that he will be reevaluated ahead of the team&#8217;s games this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Embiid has been in and out of the lineup all year for the 76ers as he looks to manage his chronic knee issues. Through it all, Tyrese Maxey has been playing at an All-NBA level for Philadelphia, and the team has also gotten some great contributions out of fellow guard, rookie VJ Edgecombe.<\/p>\n<p>Any legit chances that the 76ers have of making noise in the Eastern Conference rise and fall with the health of Embiid, which is always a wild card, particularly toward the end of seasons.
