The Knicks guard joked last Friday<\/a> that the team needed U.S. gymnastics star Suni Lee and actress Anne Hathaway at every game during their first-round playoff series against the Pistons to serve as OG Anunoby\u2019s famous good luck charms.<\/p>\n Lee sat courtside on celebrity row for Game 2 at Madison Square Garden, but things backfired when the Pistons beat the Knicks, 100-94<\/a>, to even the series 1-1.<\/p>\n Hart plead for Lee and Hathaway to return for the NBA playoffs during an episode of his teammate Jalen Brunson\u2019s podcast, the \u201cRoommates Show,\u201d last week.<\/p>\n It stemmed from the Knicks\u2019 April 6 win over the Suns, which Lee \u2014 a six-time Olympic medalist \u2014 attended.<\/p>\n Singer Lorde and Olympic gold medalist Suni Lee on celebrity row in the second half of Knicks-Pistons playoff Game 3 in the first round series at Madison Square Garden in New York, on April 21, 2025. JASON SZENES\/ NY POST<\/p>\n Anunoby had 32 points in that game and then posed with Lee for a photo after the win, leading fans to jokes that she was the reason behind it.<\/p>\n Last November, Anunoby crashed into Hathaway, who was sitting on celebrity row, while trying to track down a loose ball.<\/p>\n OG Anunoby had a rough Game 2.
