Neither Porter nor Demin appeared on Brooklyn&#8217;s injury report ahead of Friday&#8217;s matchup with the <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/oklahoma-city-thunder\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a>. Both played during <a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/brooklyn-nets\/nets-news-jordi-fernandez-has-blunt-reaction-to-brooklyns-blowout-loss-to-cavs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Thursday&#8217;s 112-84 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/brooklyn-nets\/nets-news-egor-demin-workload-plan-revealed\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Nets have managed Porter and Demin&#8217;s workloads cautiously<\/a> this season. Neither has appeared in a back-to-back since early December.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/clutchpoints.com\/nba\/brooklyn-nets\/nets-news-michael-porter-jr-reveals-playing-through-mcl-sprain\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Porter has dealt with numerous back injuries throughout his career<\/a> and suffered a \u201cminor\u201d MCL sprain earlier this season. The former played only 20 minutes during the wire-to-wire blowout defeat in Cleveland, while Demin played 26 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Brooklyn will face an Oklahoma City team missing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Abdominal Strain), Jalen Williams (Right Hamstring Strain) and Ajay Mitchell (Abdominal Strain\/ Left Ankle Sprain).<\/p>\n<p>The Nets will be without Nic Claxton, who is sidelined after spraining his right ankle during practice on Wednesday. Ziaire Williams will also miss the game due to personal reasons.<\/p>\n<p>Following Thursday&#8217;s loss, the Nets are tied with the Washington Wizards for fourth place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tankathon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">draft lottery standings<\/a>.
