Phoenix Suns<\/a> All-Star Devin Booker will miss the start of a four-game homestand Feb. 21 against the Orlando Magic<\/a> with a right hip strain.<\/p>\n

Booker started to feel discomfort with the right hip in the first half of the 121-94 loss to the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> in Austin on Feb. 19.<\/p>\n

He was later ruled out to start the second half with what the Suns called right hip soreness.<\/p>\n

\u201cTried to go back out there,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said after the game. \u201cSave himself from himself. Wanted to go out and play. Wasn’t moving great when he came back in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Grayson Allen is listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain suffered in the team\u2019s morning shootaround before the matchup against the Spurs. Allen had missed Phoenix\u2019s last three games before the NBA All-Star break with a right knee sprain.<\/p>\n

Booker scored just five points on 2-of-6 shooting in nine minutes against the Spurs.<\/p>\n

The team\u2019s leading scorer at 24.7 points a game first checked out with 5:24 left in the first quarter and didn’t return until 4:46 left in the first half.<\/p>\n

Booker then checked out again with 2:35 left in the first half and didn’t return.<\/p>\n

“He felt good enough to come back in and the first couple of times up and down, I didn’t notice anything and then definitely noticed there at the end of that second stint,” Ott said.<\/p>\n

Haywood Highsmith is listed out with a right knee injury as he has yet to play a game this season following offseason surgery while with the Miami Heat<\/a>. The Suns signed Highsmith as a free agent after the Brooklyn Nets<\/a> waived him before the Feb. 5 trade deadline.<\/p>\n

Phoenix continues to list Cole Anthony \u201cnot with team.\u201d The Suns acquired him from the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a> in a three-team deal before the trade deadline.<\/p>\n
