The Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> will begin a 3-game trip on Saturday when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans<\/a> with Joel Embiid sidelined due to both right knee injury management and right shin soreness. This is the first night of a back-to-back as Philadelphia will head to Minnesota on Sunday to face the Timberwolves, and the Sixers will be looking to get off to a good start on the trip.<\/p>\n

In terms of the starting lineup against a pesky Pelicans team, the Sixers will turn to veteran Andre Drummond to start in place of Embiid. This has been the case for a majority of the season as coach Nick Nurse likes to keep Adem Bona in a reserve role.<\/p>\n

Drummond, averaging 7.0 points and 8.7 rebounds on the season, will join Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Dominick Barlow in the starting unit.<\/p>\n

The Sixers and Pelicans will tip off at 7 p.m. EST from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.<\/p>\n
