Charlotte Hornets<\/a> star LaMelo Ball is speaking out after being involved in a scary car crash this week in Uptown Charlotte. Clips of the accident went viral as Ball’s Hummer could be seen crashing into another vehicle head-on, losing its front left tire in the process.<\/p>\nThe Hornets played their first home game since the incident Thursday night, giving Ball an opportunity to deliver his first public remarks about what went down.<\/p>\n
Ball didn’t have much to say, however. The All-Star guard said he knew the other driver was OK after seeing her “get straight out the car,” and he expressed gratitude for making it out himself as well.<\/p>\n
“I’m just alive and blessed,” Ball said. “God is great.”<\/p>\n
