Just didn’t make any of them. They made them all and that really flipped the game really quickly, and then we just never could really get back on track.”<\/p>\n
After knocking down three triples in the first half, Grimes went 0-for-4 from deep in the second half which led to Philadelphia not being able to convert on the offensive end and it struggled to find any type of rhythm in that area of the game.<\/p>\n
The 4-game losing streak is the longest for the Sixers in the 2025-26 season as Philadelphia now heads to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves on Sunday in a back-to-back situation. Whether Embiid plays or not, the Sixers will need to be better in a number of areas.<\/p>\n
“It’s tough. It\u2019s really tough,” Nurse finished. “We’ve certainly a toughest moment of the season for sure, all year, without question. We’ve got to get back to being able to play the 48, right? Again, I thought we did a lot of good things at the start. We were ready. We were executing the game plan good. I thought both the bigs were playing really well. I thought we were getting our share of transition. We blew a few defensive scheme assignments here and there, but for the most part, we were pretty locked in and pretty good, but just again. These games can\u2014with the 3-ball\u2014these games can switch so fast. You just got to kind of be able to play through that a little bit.
