More information has emerged about Portland Trail Blazers forward Sidy Cissoko\u2019s new two-year contract with the team.<\/p>\n

Update: The Trail Blazers signed Sidy Cissoko to a two-year deal, which is fully guaranteed the rest of this season and is non-guaranteed for the 2026-27 season, league sources told @hoopshype<\/a>. Cissoko has started 24 of 52 games this season, averaging 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds.<\/p>\n

Cissoko, 21, has been an inspiring standout for the Blazers this season after injuries throughout the roster unexpectedly pushed him into the regular rotation. The third-year forward had used up all 50 of the NBA appearances allotted to him on his two-way contract before the NBA All-Star break, so the franchise had to convert the deal to a standard contract if they wanted him to suit up again this season.<\/p>\n
