He most recently worked as the Pacers\u2019 Senior Vice President of Player Personnel after rising through the ranks through two decades after his hiring as a scout in 2003. He worked as Director of Scouting from 2009-18. The Pacers have been one of the most consistently successful organizations in the NBA during his tenure with two consecutive appearances in the Eastern Conference Finals in the past two seasons, including an NBA Finals appearance in the latter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Carr\u2019s role with Indiana will focus on roster building and will report directly to head coach Darian DeVries.
