{"id":623127,"date":"2026-02-25T03:31:14","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T03:31:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/623127\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T03:31:14","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T03:31:14","slug":"kevin-durant-goes-on-profanity-laced-rant-against-adidas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/623127\/","title":{"rendered":"Kevin Durant goes on profanity-laced rant against Adidas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s very clearly checks over stripes for Kevin Durant.<\/p>\n<p>The NBA superstar \u2014 a longtime Nike athlete \u2014 railed against Adidas during a conversation with an influencer at an All-Star week party in Los Angeles earlier this month, and his rant against the shoe giant was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pcifZzaK9_c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">captured on video<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/18\/sports\/kevin-durant-not-interested-in-twitter-nonsense-after-alleged-burner\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Rockets forward\u2019s<\/a> teardown of the massive apparel company began when his pal, content creator Kpreme, told him he was going to leave the event the two were at to head to an Adidas bash.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/24\/sports\/kevin-durant-caught-tearing-into-fan-on-hot-mic-cant-do-st\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Durant questioned<\/a> why he would go to that, asking, \u201cDo you wear Adidas?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.66699219;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38591291\" width=\"394\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/2026-madison-square-garden-new-121951742.jpg\" alt=\"NBA player Kevin Durant #7 of the Houston Rockets preparing to shoot a free throw.\" class=\"wp-image-38591291\"  \/>Rockets forward Kevin Durant has a lifetime deal with Nike. NBAE via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>When Kpreme responded no, Durant said, \u201cExactly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho the f\u2014k wears Adidas?\u201d the future Hall of Famer said. \u201cNah. Real s\u2014t. If you\u2019re not hooping, who wears Adidas?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Durant went on to ask further, \u201cSo why you going to a f\u2014king Adidas party?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.76247849;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38591286\" width=\"1024\" height=\"581\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/instagram-kpreme-https-www-youtube-122123001.jpg\" alt=\"NBA star Kevin Durant grimaces in a green beanie and denim jacket.\" class=\"wp-image-38591286\"  \/>Kevin Durant told Kpreme at an NBA All-Star week party, \u201cF\u2014k Adidas.\u201d Instagram\/@kpreme<\/p>\n<p>The shade didn\u2019t stop there. Several minutes later, after Kpreme asked Durant if he could get him some of his shoes, Durant continued to go in on Adidas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cF\u2014k no,\u201d Durant said. \u201cYou\u2019re going to an Adidas party. F\u2014k Adidas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Durant first signed a contract with Nike when he was a rookie with the Supersonics in 2007.
