He added nine assists with just one turnover and six rebounds. His efforts resulted in the Grizzlies naming him the <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/memgrizz\/status\/2026136738712691071?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">player off the game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The loss drops the Grizzlies to 21-35 on the season. Despite the team\u2019s struggles, Small has been given plenty of opportunities this season with 16 minutes per game.<\/p>\n<p>Small, West Virginia\u2019s point guard during the 2024-25 season, led the Mountaineers to a 19-12 record,<a href=\"https:\/\/wvsportsnow.com\/wvu-basketball-not-selected-for-ncaa-tournament\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0just missing out on the NCAA Tournament<\/a>. Miles \u201cDeuce\u201d McBride went No. 36 to the New York Knicks in 2021.
