\"BenImage credit: Getty Images Actor and ardent New York Knicks fan Ben Stiller<\/a> has brushed off sports analyst Pat McAfee\u2019s objectionable comments during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday. A host of celebrity fans, including actors Stiller and Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet and director Spike Lee, were among the spectators as the Knicks faced the Indiana Pacers on the latter\u2019s home ground at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. McAfee, who provided some commentary, went on to call out the celebrity audience while pitching for the Indiana Pacers.<\/p>\n

Ben Stiller reacts to McAfee\u2019s objectionable commentary<\/p>\n

On top of McAfee\u2019s comments, the Indiana Pacers went on to beat the New York Knicks 130\u2013121. It seems the adrenaline was running too high for McAfee as he called out the New York Knicks\u2019 celebrity fans, who had come down to Indianapolis from New York just to watch the game. The home crowd even booed as McAfee said, \u201cSpike Lee is here. Ben Stiller is here. Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet is here. Let\u2019s send these sons of b****es back to New York.\u201dAfter the game, actor Ben Stiller came across a video of McAfee\u2019s comment on X and reacted to it, \u201cYes. Weird. We were happy to be there and cheer our team, and other than that, Indy fans were awesome.\u201d He went on to respond to other users as they weighed in on the incident.An X user and likely Indiana Pacers fan wrote, \u201cYou\u2019re right, it wouldn\u2019t happen in New York. Your fans decide throwing trash bags at the other team\u2019s fan in the street is okay. A little friendly banter to rile up a crowd? Cmon man.\u201d Responding to him, Stiller wrote, \u201cAll good. The garbage was bad.\u201dThe actor also shared a message for a Knicks fan who said he didn\u2019t like what McAfee said. Replying to him, Stiller wrote on X, \u201cIt\u2019s ok. He must be playing around – if it\u2019s an actual point of view, it seems a little anachronistic or cliche? Like we are \u2018big city celebs\u2019 and we shouldn\u2019t be there in the heartland? Again, everyone we met was awesome and incredibly cool.\u201dWhen an X user said that Pacers fans booing the celebrity names were \u201call affectionate boos,\u201d Stiller wrote, \u201cI promise you, I actually felt that.\u201d He added, \u201cNo bitterness at all Indy fans were amazing, good win for you guys.\u201d Replying to another tweet, Stiller also said, \u201cAppreciate that.
