All 11 teams qualify for the conference postseason, with the top five teams in the final regular-season standings receiving first-round byes. The winner of the BIG EAST Tournament receives the league\u2019s automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Tournament.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nAction tips off on March 6 with the BIG EAST Tournament First Round. No. 8 seed Georgetown\u00a0will face No. 9 seed Butler at 11 a.m. ET, followed by No. 7 seed Providence\u00a0against No. 10 seed DePaul at 1:30 p.m. Day one closes out at 4 p.m. when No. 6 seed St. John\u2019s tips off against No. 11 seed Xavier.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe winner of the Bulldogs-Hoyas game moves on to face No. 1 seed and BIG EAST regular-season champion UConn\u00a0in Saturday\u2019s first of four quarterfinal games. Tipoff is slated for noon.
