Killer Mike<\/a> is going to bat for Atlanta\u2019s most famous strip club — firing back at critics of the Atlanta Hawks\u2019 controversial Magic City promotion<\/a> \u2026 and he\u2019s not mincing words.<\/p>\n The Atlanta rapper and activist weighed in on the debate surrounding the team\u2019s \u201cMagic City Monday\u201d theme night — and made it clear to TMZ Sports<\/a> that outsiders should mind their business when it comes to ATL culture.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cSo you come to Atlanta \u2026 and they say they like the girls and the chicken wings, and the city doesn’t have a problem with it, shut the f*** up,\u201d Mike said.<\/p>\n He even took a swipe at NBA players who have criticized<\/a> the idea.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAl Horford<\/a>, we never f***ed with you anyway,\u201d Mike said.\u00a0\u201cWe don’t f*** with Luke <\/a>(Kornet<\/a>). Luke should stay in San Antonio and concern himself with San Antonio business.\u201d<\/p>\n Mike praised Magic City as a longstanding Black-owned institution \u2026 noting the club has been part of the community for more than three decades. He also pointed out that stripping has provided opportunities for performers and helped people build lives beyond the stage.<\/p>\n \u201cThese women have went on to become business owners, moms, wives and more,\u201d he said, arguing the venue has long been part of the city\u2019s economic and cultural ecosystem.<\/p>\n Mike compared the Atlanta strip-club scene to the historic Playboy Club era — pointing out that those venues helped open doors for Black entertainers.<\/p>\n He also noted that adult entertainment has long been embedded in the city\u2019s identity — and insisted critics aren\u2019t going to change that anytime soon.<\/p>\n \u201cYou are never going to get rid of adult entertainment in Atlanta,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Play video content<\/p>\n TMZSports.com<\/p>\n We also caught up with another Atlanta-area hip-hop artist, Jayy Wick, at LAX this week.<\/p>\n The viral \u201cPork Chop Sammich\u201d rapper agrees with Mike \u2026 saying ATL has the best nightlife anywhere … and that\u2019s how it\u2019s always been and how it\u2019ll always be.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s part of the culture in Atlanta \u2013 strip clubs,\u201d Wick said. \u201cIs it the best way that you could market an NBA team that kids and all that s*** look at? Maybe not. But is it an Atlanta move?
