Ajay Mitchell to return from 20-game absence against Nuggets<\/p>\n

Help has arrived. Ajay Mitchell is no longer listed on the injury report. He’ll be available for the Oklahoma City Thunder<\/a> as they host the Denver Nuggets<\/a> in a highly-anticipated matchup on Monday.<\/p>\n

Mitchell had missed 20 consecutive games with an abdominal strain and ankle sprain. The month-plus-long absence had folks worried about his recovery process. Enjoying a breakout season, the Thunder have gained back one of their best scorers.<\/p>\n

Mitchell has averaged 14.1 points on 48.7% shooting, 3.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 43 games. He’s shot 35% from 3 on 3.2 attempts.<\/p>\n

Will be interesting to see how Mitchell slides back into OKC’s rotation. It’ll be the first time the Thunder will have Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Mitchell and Jared McCain suited up. He last played on Jan. 21 in a win over the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>.<\/p>\n
