Scoot Henderson finished with 28 points and six assists on 10-of-15 shooting as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Indiana Pacers 131-111 Sunday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.<\/p>\n
Deni Avdija was back in the lineup after missing six-games. He finished with 18 points and eight assists in 25 minutes of action.<\/p>\n
Jerami Grant and Jrue Holiday combined for 42 points on 13-of-20 shooting.<\/p>\n
Portland (31-34) connected on 51% of their field goals and held a 53-38 edge in rebounding.<\/p>\n
The game was tied at 30 at the end of the first and Indiana held a one-point lead with 5:54 to play in the first half. Following a timeout from Tiago Splitter, Portland erupted for a 25-7 run to take a 17-point lead into the locker room. <\/p>\n
The Pacers never recovered as Portland led by at least 13 the rest of the way including 100-80 at the end of the third. Coach Splitter was able to clear his bench with just under four minutes to play in the game.<\/p>\n
