These hits, however, won\u2019t have anyone in the Bay Area dancing or singing.<\/p>\n
Already saddled by a litany of injuries to stars like Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler III, Golden State\u2019s list of walking wounded expanded during Friday night\u2019s 127-117 loss<\/a> to the Minnesota Timberwolves at Chase Center.<\/p>\n Al Horford, who had started six of the previous nine games, exited in the first half with a calf injury. No medical updates were given after the game, but it seems almost certain that the 39-year-old center will have to miss at least one game.<\/p>\n Had that been the only injury news for Golden State, it would have been fairly easy to move on. But shortly after Horford left, Seth Curry had to come out of the game with right adductor soreness. Then Quinten Post left with a left ankle sprain.<\/p>\n This is a team that has had to play the majority of the season without its top two scorers. Butler tore his right ACL<\/a> after 38 games, while Curry has been nursing a sore knee<\/a> and hasn\u2019t played since Jan. 30.<\/p>\n Draymond Green was a late scratch, too, because of lingering lower back soreness.<\/p>\n \u201cWe’re going through it for sure,\u201d\u00a0Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. \u201cBut you saw how hard the guys played and stayed in it and got the fans into it.\u00a0We can’t ask anything more of our players right now what they’re giving effort-wise and playing together. But yeah, we’re about as beaten up as any team.\u201d<\/p>\n
