Or maybe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6737805\/2025\/10\/22\/victor-wembanyama-height-mystery-nba-spurs\/?lid=p68t07gudokc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">even 7-foot-5<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The MVP conversation has centered on those two, not only this season but also last season. Plus, he\u2019s doing all that while his shooting and creativity are greatly improved from last fall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Also factor in this perspective: Wembanyama is doing damage against the best the league can offer. His March 5 demolition of the East-leading Pistons \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/game\/det-vs-sas-0022500904?lid=dlcw3kbfjn5x\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">38 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks<\/a> \u2014 was among the best performances of the season by anyone.
