With just one day left until Selection Sunday<\/a> and March Madness<\/a> just around the corner, it\u2019s crunch time in conference tournaments around the country.<\/p>\n

In the SEC, it\u2019s all about Florida and whether the Gators can run it back with another national title. The Gators struggled to start the season and then even fell out of the national rankings completely by early January. But now, this team feels like a completely different story. The Gators ended the season on an 11-game win streak and their first regular-season SEC title since 2014.<\/p>\n

Duke Miles scored 30 points in Vandy\u2019s quarterfinal win over Tennessee on Friday. The Vols didn\u2019t have much of answer for either Miles or point guard Tyler Tanner.<\/p>\n

We still have about a half hour until the first semifinal of the day between Florida and Vanderbilt.<\/p>\n

The two teams have only played once this year and it was a high-scoring game that went down to the final seconds. The Gators came out on top in that one, 98-94; five Florida players had 14+ points in the win.<\/p>\n

Vanderbilt plays Florida in Saturday\u2019s first SEC semifinal matchup with tipoff at 1 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s followed by Arkansas facing Ole Miss (the first No. 15 seed to reach the semifinal) at 3 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n

Tae Davis scored to pull Oklahoma to within two points once again. Nijel Pack then fouled Darius Acuff Jr., who made one of two free throws.<\/p>\n

That gave Oklahoma a chance for a game-tying 3, but Pack missed his shot from deep behind the arc with five seconds left. Arkansas got the rebound and time ran out on the Sooners.<\/p>\n

Acuff scored 37 points, two away from an Arkansas SEC tournament record (39 by Todd Day). He added five rebounds, five assists and three steals to lift the Razorbacks to the SEC tournament semifinals.<\/p>\n

Thomas hits both free throws to restore the Sooners\u2019 lead to 81-77 with 18 seconds left.<\/p>\n

With a 77-75 lead, Arkansas\u2019 Darius Acuff Jr. curls off a screen and hits a baseline jumper to increase the Razorbacks\u2019 lead to four points with 27 seconds remaining in regulation.<\/p>\n

Mohamed Wague makes one of two free throws to close Oklahoma\u2019s deficit to 77-73, but Tae Davis rebounds the miss and is fouled.<\/p>\n

Davis makes both free throws and the Sooners trail 77-75 with 53 seconds left in the game.<\/p>\n

Arkansas may be starting to pull away here. Darius Acuff Jr. took a fearless 3-pointer from the top of the arc and drilled it, giving the Razorbacks a 7-point lead with 2:27 remaining.<\/p>\n

Acuff has 34 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.<\/p>\n

Malique Ewin broke yet another deadlock driving to the rim for a dunk. He then stole a Nijel Pack pass, leading to a layup from Billy Richmond III and 71-67 lead for Arkansas.<\/p>\n

Sensing a surge, Oklahoma coach Porter Moser calls timeout with 4:25 remaining in the game.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma extended its lead to 61-57 on a Derrion Reid free throw and Nijel Pack 3-pointer.<\/p>\n

Oklahoma and Arkansas are underway for the second half. The Sooners have a 39-37 lead, having led for most of the first half.<\/p>\n

Again, an NCAA tournament bid might be on the line for Oklahoma, which bracketologists see as the first team out with a loss tonight.<\/p>\n

Darius Acuff Jr. dashed down the court to drill a 3-pointer from just past the halfcourt logo to close Arkansas to within 39-37 at halftime.<\/p>\n

Acuff has a game-high 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting (4-of-7 on 3s). Nijel Pack leads Oklahoma with 16 points. They are the two players who have scored in double figures thus far.<\/p>\n
