NBA legend Dell Curry had his No. 30 jersey officially retired by the Charlotte Hornets, cementing his place within the franchise after spending 10 seasons playing for the team from 1988 to 1998.<\/p>\n
Dell\u2019s sons, Stephen Curry and Seth Curry, were both in attendance, turning the ceremony into a full-circle moment for one of basketball\u2019s most iconic families. Seth Curry \u2014 a former Hornet himself \u2014 spoke during the ceremony, reflecting on the meaning of the No. 30 jersey and what it represents as the last player to wear that number for the organization.<\/p>\n
The No. 30, of course, later became synonymous with greatness worldwide through Steph Curry\u2019s rise with Golden State. But as Steph shared after the celebration, that legacy started long before the Bay \u2014 beginning in Charlotte with his father.<\/p>\n
