{"id":675770,"date":"2026-03-24T04:40:15","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T04:40:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/675770\/"},"modified":"2026-03-24T04:40:15","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T04:40:15","slug":"pascal-siakam-stuffs-paolo-banchero-to-send-magic-to-another-loss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nba\/675770\/","title":{"rendered":"Pascal Siakam stuffs Paolo Banchero to send Magic to another loss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nba\/teams\/orlando_magic\/122\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Orlando Magic<\/a> came back from 12 points down in the final 3:36 Monday night and gave star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nba\/players\/paolo_banchero\/737567\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paolo Banchero<\/a> a chance to tie it at the buzzer. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nba\/players\/pascal_siakam\/488032\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pascal Siakam&#8217;s<\/a> defensive heroics and Orlando&#8217;s third-quarter defensive collapse sent the Magic to their fifth straight loss, 128-126.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nba\/teams\/indiana_pacers\/71\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Indiana Pacers<\/a> put up 44 points in the third quarter as Orlando&#8217;s defense couldn&#8217;t stop Aaron Nesmith (16 points in the third quarter) and Andrew Nembhard (seven assists). Banchero had seven points and an assist in the final 2:18 of regulation, carving through the Pacers defense \u2014 until Siakam blocked his final attempt.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLosing to Indiana Pacers is a crushing defeat for Orlando Magic<\/p>\n<p>The Magic had lost four straight going into Monday&#8217;s game, but they hoped they could end the skid against a Pacers team that had lost a franchise-record 16 straight games. Instead, Orlando dropped into 8th place, keeping their place only thanks to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yardbarker.com\/nba\/teams\/miami_heat\/75\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Miami Heat<\/a> also dropping their fifth straight.<\/p>\n<p>But they let the Pacers score 16 points above their average, and shoot 55 percent from the field.
