Two-Way guard Tyson Etienne led the Nets in scoring with 18 points along with tallying three assists while forward Ziaire Williams had another solid game with 16 points and four rebounds.

The Nets came into Monday’s loss to Portland severely shorthanded once again as they were missing Michael Porter Jr., Egor Demin, Day’Ron Sharpe, Terance Mann, Noah Clowney, Danny Wolf, and Drake Powell. On the other side, the Trail Blazers were without the likes of Shaedon Sharpe, Jerami Grant, and Robert Williams III, but it looked like they didn’t need extra help.

Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara torched the Nets from beyond the three-point arc as he finished the contest with 35 points, three rebounds, and three assists while shooting 10-of-12 from the field and 9-of-11 from behind the three-point line. Brooklyn also had trouble creating any sustainable offense against the Trail Blazers as they ended the night shooting just 41.3% from the floor while turning the ball over 22 times.

With the amount of players that the Nets were missing heading into this contest, players like forward Josh Minott (15 points, five rebounds) and Two-Way forward Chaney Johnson (12 points, five rebounds) were able to see more playing time. While Brooklyn heads into Wednesday’s matchup at the Golden State Warriors on a eight-game losing streak, there is still a chance for a win to be earned by the Nets before turning home.

Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub with puzzles, games and more!Tyson Etienne Shines Off Bench

Etienne has not spent much time at the NBA level this season, but that has changed in March as he is seeing more playing time down the stretch of this rebuilding campaign. Etienne had arguably his best game of the season in this one as he finished the contest with 18 points and four assists while shooting 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-7 from three-point land.

Ziaire Williams Remains Consistent

Williams’ best month of the season continues as he is not only seeing more consistent playing time, but is also shouldering more responsibility amidst a mountain of injuries. After dropping 16 points, four rebounds, and two steals on Monday against the Trail Blazers, Williams is now averaging 12.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 51.2% from the floor and 51.4% from deep.

Josh Minott Contributes On Both Ends

While it was somewhat-surprising to see not Minott play a single second in Sunday’s 126-122 loss at the Sacramento Kings, he remained ready to contribute on Monday against Portland. Minott finished the contest with 15 points, five rebounds, two steals in 33 minutes as one of the starters, giving him averages of 10.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and 46.3% from behind the three-point line in just 19.6 minutes per game in March.

March 24, 2026, 10:50 a.m. ET The Brooklyn Nets (17-55) were coming off a close 126-122 loss to the Sacramento…

[3784
72400,7,601,6,687,471,3967,72503,72504,72404,72505,72509,73327,72508,72444,72422,72572,72445,72405,72797,74131,72483,72406,73392,73097,1617,72403
0":"post-676828","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-portland-trail-blazers","8":"tag-accessfree","9":"tag-basketball","10":"tag-blazers","11":"tag-nba","12":"tag-portland","13":"tag-portland-trail-blazers","14":"tag-portlandtrailblazers","15":"tag-sstssportsnbanets","16":"tag-sstsnnets","17":"tag-tagbasketball","18":"tag-tagbrooklyn-nets","19":"tag-tagdayron-sharpe","20":"tag-tagjosh-minott","21":"tag-tagmichael-porter-jr","22":"tag-tagnational-sports","23":"tag-tagnba","24":"tag-tagnoah-clowney","25":"tag-tagoverall-neutral","26":"tag-tagoverall-positive","27":"tag-tagportland-trail-blazers","28":"tag-tagshaedon-sharpe","29":"tag-tagsmg-listicle","30":"tag-tagsports-news","31":"tag-tagterance-mann","32":"tag-tagtoumani-camara","33":"tag-trail-blazers","34":"tag-typestory
["GET
