Boston Celtics<\/a> center Neemias Queta is a top-100 player in the NBA, according to brand new player rankings from The Ringer.<\/p>\n

Queta landed at No. 99 in the rankings that dropped on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s amazing how much Queta has been able to accomplish this season by just doing his job and making himself available,” The Ringer’s Rob Mahoney wrote<\/a>. “Creating real contact on a screen and rolling to the rim?\u00a0What a concept!\u00a0Sealing the defender in his path to make it that much easier to receive a pass inside?\u00a0Revolutionary!\u00a0Even in this age of aliens and unicorns, it pays to have a big man do traditional big man things\u2014especially when the big in question has good touch, shows sound instincts, and can hold his own on both ends of the floor.”<\/p>\n

Mahoney went on to praise Queta’s patience, as well as the Celtics’ supreme developmental environment, both of which have allowed Queta to grow into a legit starting NBA center before his 27th birthday.<\/p>\n
