Moody underwent season-ending surgery on his knee today, and likely won\u2019t be back until the second half of next season.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Al Horford (right soleus strain)<\/p>\n
This will be Horford\u2019s eighth straight absence. At this point, the question for him is less about if he\u2019ll return soon, and more about whether he\u2019ll run it back for a 20th NBA season next year.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Quinten Post (right foot injury management)<\/p>\n
The Dubs will once again be without two of their three centers.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 De\u2019Anthony Melton (left knee injury management)<\/p>\n
Melton has been a revelation with Curry sidelined. Unfortunately, the Warriors won\u2019t have either of them today.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Seth Curry (left adductor strain)<\/p>\n
Or the other Curry, for that matter. He\u2019s still played just four games this year.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Anthony Davis (left finger sprain)<\/p>\n
Washington\u2019s surprising trade for Davis at the deadline was always more about future years than about this season. And indeed, the 10-time All-Star has yet to make his Wizards debut.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Trae Young (low back pain; right quad contusion)<\/p>\n
Young, a four-time All-Star point guard, was Washington\u2019s other high-profile deadline pickup. Like Davis, the Wizards traded for him for the future, not for this lost year. He\u2019s only played in five games for his new squad.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Kyshawn George (left elbow sprain)<\/p>\n
George has had a very strong second season, averaging 14.8 points per game and shooting 38.1% from deep. But he\u2019s been out for nearly a month now.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 Cam Whitmore (right shoulder deep vein thrombosis)<\/p>\n
The Wizards took a flyer on Whitmore this year, and so far it hasn\u2019t gone all that well. The ultra athletic wing has appeared in just 21 games, and is averaging a career-low 9.2 points per game in his third season.<\/p>\n
Out \u2014 D\u2019Angelo Russell (not with team)<\/p>\n
The former Warrior joined the Wizards in the Davis trade, but hasn\u2019t played for them. If he had interest from a playoff team, he likely would have been bought out.<\/p>\n
