The Detroit Pistons<\/a> are set to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> on Saturday, March 28, in a nationally televised game on ABC.<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Pistons announced both their starting lineup and finalized injury report<\/a> against the ever-consistently dangerous team in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n

Detroit is currently first in the East<\/a>, in line to grab the top seed in the playoffs, but amid the latest Cade Cunningham<\/a> injury, that could be at risk, as they hope to close out the regular season on a strong run.<\/p>\n

Before the game against Minnesota, the Pistons announced their starting lineup for Saturday.<\/a><\/p>\n

Daniss Jenkins<\/a>, Duncan Robinson<\/a>, Ausar Thompson,<\/a> Tobias Harris<\/a>, and Jalen Duren<\/a> were all selected as starters by head coach JB Bickerstaff.<\/p>\n

While a few of those players had a chance of missing the game, this has been the lineup the Pistons have been using over the past few contests, as without Cunningham, they\u2019ve been forced to play a few guys who have normally come off the bench, specifically Jenkins, yet he remains a sparkplug for the team.<\/a><\/p>\n

Additionally, Duren, a first-year All-Star<\/a>, is having the best season of his career, and even without the franchise star, having him in the starting lineup gives Detroit a strong chance to get the win.<\/p>\n

Pistons Injury Report, Cade Cunningham Update\"Cade<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Pistons had several key players<\/a> listed on the injury report for Saturday.<\/p>\n

Robinson (hip) was questionable, Duren (knee), Thompson (ankle), and\u00a0Harris (hip) were probable, while Isaiah Stewart<\/a> (calf) was ruled out against Minnesota.<\/p>\n

However, just an hour before the contest, Detroit upgraded Robinson, Duren, Thompson, and Harris to available against the Timberwolves. They will also be without a few two-way players, each of whom was ruled out against the Timberwolves.<\/p>\n

As the Pistons are still missing Cunningham, being without Duren, and the rest of their key players, it could have been a major issue. However, the injuries to each aren\u2019t expected to be big concerns, which makes sense considering each was upgraded for Saturday.<\/p>\n

But as for Cunningham, he remains the biggest concern for Detroit at this point in the season. While he was ruled out for at least two weeks<\/a> when the news of his collapsed lung was announced, the MVP candidate still doesn\u2019t have a direct timeline for a return.<\/p>\n

The point guard was recently seen working out in the team\u2019s facility<\/a>, and according to Shams Charania of ESPN<\/a>, the Pistons are hopeful to get him back before the playoffs begin.<\/p>\n

Detroit is 53-20 and first in the East, but this core has yet to win a postseason series, so even if they clinch home-court advantage, winning multiple rounds in April and May remains a tough task.<\/p>\n
