On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a> are playing the Brooklyn Nets<\/a> (at home).<\/p>\n

Luka Doncic has been on fire as of late.<\/p>\n

He already had 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block while shooting 6\/10 from the field and 2\/2 from three-point range in his first 12 minutes of playing time.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: The Lakers won by a score of 116-99.<\/p>\n

Doncic also made Lakers history during the game by recording his 100th steal of the year.<\/p>\n

Ryan Ward of Lakers OnSI wrote:<\/a> \u201cPer Lakers: With his first steal tonight vs. Brooklyn, Luka Don\u010di\u0107<\/a> recorded his 100th steal of the season, becoming the 10th player this season and the 28th in franchise history to reach the mark.\u201d<\/p>\n

Doncic came into play with averages of 33.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 8.3 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range in 61 games.<\/p>\n

He has scored 168 points over the last four games.<\/p>\n

The Lakers have been one of the elite teams in the league this season.<\/p>\n

They are coming off a 137-130 win over the Pacers<\/a> (in Indiana).<\/p>\n

Doncic went off for 43 points while shooting 15\/30 from the field.<\/p>\n

The Lakers are currently the third seed in the Western Conference with a 47-26 record in 73 games.<\/p>\n

They have won nine out of their last ten.<\/p>\n
