On Monday evening, the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> will be in Texas to play the Dallas Mavericks<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves are coming off a 109-87 loss to the Detroit Pistons<\/a> (at home).<\/p>\n

Anthony Edwards<\/a> did not play in the game.<\/p>\n

For Monday\u2019s game, the Timberwolves have announced that Edwards will be listed as questionable on the injury report.<\/p>\n

Chris Hine of The Minnesota Star Tribune wrote:<\/a> \u201cAnthony Edwards listed as questionable tomorrow night, ramping up to play. Edwards need to play in every game from here on out to qualify for postseason awards.<\/p>\n

Jaden McDaniels<\/a> still out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Edwards is in the middle of his sixth season as a pro (all with the Timberwolves).<\/p>\n

The former UGA star is currently averaging 29.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 49.2% from the field and 40.2% from three-point range in 58 games.<\/p>\n

Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic added:<\/a> \u201cEdwards upgraded to questionable. As we reported last night, all signs point to him returning tomorrow night\u201d<\/p>\n

Timberwolves This Season\"\"<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves come into the night as the fifth seed in the Western Conference with a 45-29 record in 74 games.<\/p>\n

They are 5-5 over their last ten games (and 20-15 in 35 games on the road).<\/p>\n

Following the Mavs, the Timberwolves will play their next game on Thursday when they visit the Detroit Pistons in Michigan.<\/p>\n

The Timberwolves have reached the Western Conference finals in each of the previous two seasons.<\/p>\n

If they can be fully healthy for the NBA<\/a> playoffs, they will have an excellent chance to make another deep run in 2026.<\/p>\n

They are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 24-50 record in 74 games.<\/p>\n
