Two days after undergoing surgery<\/a> on the torn patellar tendon in his left knee, the Warriors guard on Sunday shared a message on X implying the challenge of his season-ending injury and looming rehab only will make him stronger.<\/p>\n

Moody sustained the devastating injury<\/a> during Golden State’s overtime win<\/a> against the Dallas Mavericks last Monday at American Airlines Center in a terrifying moment that silenced the arena. The 23-year-old had to leave the court on a stretcher with 58 seconds left in the overtime period.<\/p>\n

Moody’s thoughtful reflection on the situation should come as no surprise to Dub Nation, as he often delivers wise words<\/a> in his postgame press conference that seem far beyond his years. <\/p>\n

Getting back on the floor certainly won’t be easy, but the Warriors will be eagerly awaiting Moody’s return after a 2025-26 NBA season marred by injuries.<\/p>\n
