SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The Bulls<\/a> wanted to see more from Jaden Ivey than just the four games he gave them before his knee issues became a concern and he was shut down.<\/p>\n

As of Monday, however, there is nothing the organization wants to see from him any longer.<\/p>\n

According to an NBA source, because of Ivey\u2019s latest social media comments the Bulls were working with the league on an exit strategy from the former No. 5 overall pick (2022 draft).<\/p>\n

Acquired at the trade deadline from Detroit in the Kevin Huerter deal, there were some red flags around Ivey last month when he held an impromptu postgame sermon about the \u201cOld Jaden Ivey\u201d being dead, especially now that \u201cChrist was in his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the last few weeks, he started taking to his social media account and preaching to people his beliefs, while condemning those that he felt weren\u2019t \u201csaved.\u201d<\/p>\n

But on Monday came the final straw when he went on a rant about the LGBTQ community, saying, \u201cThe world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA does too. They show it to the world. They say, \u2018Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.\u2019 \u201c<\/p>\n

Despite what executive vice president Arturas Karnisovas says and believes, the NBA is about collecting talent and getting that talent as high as possible in the draft. That\u2019s why the Bulls\u2019 only focus for the rest of the season should be locking down the best draft odds they can.<\/p>\n

It might have been a good day to tank, especially with the Bucks losing hours earlier, but Bulls coach Billy Donovan still is trying to win games and identify which of his players have that same mindset.<\/p>\n
