Former Walsh University men’s basketball<\/a> player Quinn Barnett<\/a> has found a new home.<\/p>\n

Barnett posted on social media on March 29 he has committed to play at Middle Tennessee State. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.<\/p>\n

Middle Tennessee State is an NCAA Division I program that competes in Conference USA. The Blue Raiders finished 17-15 this season. They last played in the NCAA Tournament in 2017.<\/p>\n

Barnett announced on March 23 that he was officially in the transfer portal<\/a>. The 6-foot-4 guard helped lead Walsh to 29 wins, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles<\/a> and a NCAA Division II Sweet 16 berth for the first time this season. He averaged a team-leading 14.8 points a game.<\/p>\n

In two seasons with the Cavs, Barnett averaged 12.4 points over 56 games (36 starts).<\/p>\n
