The Chicago Bulls<\/a> are set to play the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> on Monday, March 30, in a game that comes on the heels of the shocking Jaden Ivey<\/a> news.<\/p>\n After Ivey was on social media making personal, religious, and anit-LGBTQ rants, it was announced<\/a> that he was waived by the Bulls.<\/p>\n In the time since, Chicago has also announced<\/a> its starting lineup and final injury report<\/a> for their game against the Spurs.<\/p>\n Chicago Bulls Starting Lineup vs San Antonio Spurs<\/p>\n Before the Monday night contest, the Bulls revealed their starting lineup on social media.<\/p>\n Josh Giddey<\/a>, Tre Jones<\/a>, Isaac Okoro<\/a>, Matas Buzelis<\/a>, and Guerschon Yabusele<\/a> all got the nod from veteran head coach Billy Donovan<\/a>.<\/p>\n As the Bulls have faced numerous major injuries across their roster, this is a starting lineup that hasn\u2019t been used a whole lot until recently by the coaching staff.<\/p>\n Bulls Injury Report<\/p>\n Chicago also announced their final injury<\/a> report for the game against San Antonio, one that features six key players, not including Ivey, who is now no longer on the roster.<\/p>\n Firstly, Zach Collins<\/a>, Jalen Smith<\/a>, rookie Noa Essengu<\/a>e are both listed as out for the year with season ending injuries. None has played in a while, and there was no chance they would suit up for Monday.<\/p>\n The Bulls also have Anfernee Simons<\/a> (wrist), Nick Richards<\/a> (elbow), and Mac McClung<\/a> (hamstring) listed on the injury report, as well as a few other two-way players set to miss the game against the Spurs.<\/p>\n CHI@SAS<\/a> Injury Report & Analysis BULLS OUT: \u2014<\/p>\n SPURS OUT: After their moves at the trade deadline, Chicago has been one of the more unhealthy teams this season, likely now targeting the 2026 NBA<\/a> draft lottery in hopes of landing a top pick.<\/a><\/p>\n Jaden Ivey Waived By Bulls After Controversial Comments<\/p>\n Per the Bulls organization itself, they have waived Ivey for conduct detrimental to the team.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has waived guard Jaden Ivey due to conduct detrimental to the team,\u201d they wrote in a statement posted on X.<\/p>\n Ivey had been on social media over the past weeks<\/a> making what many described as concerning comments about<\/a> his personal life, religious beliefs, and anti-LGBTQ remarks pointed towards the NBA.<\/p>\n \u201cThe news comes after Ivey posted a series of videos ranting about religion and other topics on social media in recent weeks, with one on Monday morning calling out the NBA for celebrating Pride Month, saying it\u2019s celebrating \u2018unrighteousness,’\u201d ESPN wrote after the news broke<\/a>. \u201cIvey, 24, has spoken in the past of dealing with depression.\u201d<\/p>\n Ivey played in four games with Chicago after being acquired at the trade deadline from the Detroit Pistons<\/a>.
