On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors<\/a> and San Antonio Spurs<\/a> will face off at the Chase Center in San Francisco.<\/p>\n

For the game, the Warriors have announced a very long injury report<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Warriors have ruled out Jimmy Butler<\/a>, Steph Curry, Al Horford, De\u2019Anthony Melton<\/a>, Moses Moody<\/a>, Kristaps Porzingis<\/a> and Quinten Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gary Payton<\/a> II and Gui Santos<\/a> are both listed as questionable.<\/p>\n

Santos is in the middle of his third NBA<\/a> season (all with Golden State).<\/p>\n

He is averaging 8.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 35.6% from three-point range in 64 games.<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Shams Charania wrote (on February 28):<\/a> \u201cGolden State Warriors forward Gui Santos has signed a three-year, $15 million contract extension with the franchise, sources tell ESPN. The deal includes a player option in 2028-29.\u201d<\/p>\n

Payton II is in the middle of his tenth NBA season.<\/p>\n

The 2022 NBA Champion is averaging 7.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists per contest while shooting 57.7% from the field and 30.8% from three-point range in 67 games.<\/p>\n

He has also spent time playing for the Washington Wizards<\/a>, Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>, Portland Trail Blazers<\/a> and Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Injuries continues to be the story for Golden State, as they come into the night with a 36-39 record in 75 games.<\/p>\n

They have won four out of their last ten games (and are 21-15 at home).<\/p>\n

After they play the Spurs, the Warriors will have another tough challenge when they remain at home to host James Harden<\/a> and the Cleveland Cavaliers<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n
