When younger brother Alex Antetokounmpo officially suited up for the Milwaukee Bucks and entered the game against the Dallas Mavericks, the Antetokounmpos became the first trio of brothers in NBA history to be part of the same active roster.

According to Sports Illustrated, Alex, who signed a two-way deal with Milwaukee earlier this season, made his NBA debut in the Bucks’ win over Dallas. With Giannis sidelined by a calf injury and Thanasis also inactive, Alex was the only Antetokounmpo brother to see the floor.

Still, the moment carried extra significance because all three brothers were officially active members of the roster at the same time.

Alex scored his first NBA points in the fourth quarter, sinking three free throws. Giannis, watching from the bench, immediately made sure the game ball was saved. Cameras caught the former MVP anxiously waiting for a stoppage in play so he could retrieve the ball and hand it to his younger brother.

Giannis has frequently spoken about the importance of family, and that bond has remained visible even as the brothers have expanded their influence beyond basketball.

Milwaukee’s bench microphones also captured Giannis reacting to the moment in real time. After Alex made one of his free throws, Giannis joked, “Hey, man. I can retire now. I’ve done it all, man. I can retire now.”

Bucks coach Doc Rivers later described how emotional Giannis was before Alex entered the game. “It’s really cool,” Rivers said after the win. “Giannis told me his hands were sweating. I thought that was hilarious.

Giannis grabbed my hands and said, ‘My hands are sweating. I’m so nervous right now for my brother.’ To see him make the free throws and play—listen, three family members in the NBA, that’s a pretty cool moment for him.”

The latest chapter comes during a busy stretch for the Antetokounmpo brothers off the court as well. Giannis, Thanasis, Alex, and their older brother, Kostas, launched their family company, Ante, in 2023 to oversee business ventures and investments.

Most recently, Ante acquired Chicago’s Harmony Apartments for more than $21 million, following earlier purchases in Shorewood, Madison, and Brooklyn’s Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood.

The brothers also teamed up with former NBA player and ESPN analyst Jay Williams last year to launch Improbable Media, a production and brand strategy company.

Giannis Antetokounmpo added another milestone to his résumé on Tuesday, March 31, but this one had nothing to…

[3775
7,103,102,121,3871,6
0":"post-692133","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-milwaukee-bucks","8":"tag-basketball","9":"tag-bucks","10":"tag-milwaukee","11":"tag-milwaukee-bucks","12":"tag-milwaukeebucks","13":"tag-nba
["GET
