The Denver Nuggets acquired Cam Johnson from the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason.<\/p>\n

The Denver Nuggets<\/a> will take on the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, April 1.<\/p>\n

Cam Johnson, who recently dealt with an injury scare, avoided the injury report ahead of the action.<\/p>\n

Barring any sudden changes, the Nuggets intend to enter the game with Johnson listed as available against the Jazz.<\/p>\n

During the Nuggets\u2019 last game against the Golden State Warriors<\/a>, Johnson left the court after 19 minutes of action.<\/p>\n

When he checked out with back spasms, the veteran forward had six points after shooting 2-5 from the field. He also has three assists, one steal, and one block.<\/p>\n

Despite losing Johnson in the second half, the Nuggets closed out the game with a 116-93 win over the struggling and undermanned Warriors.<\/p>\n

This season, Johnson has 50 games under his belt with the Nuggets. He was traded from the Brooklyn Nets<\/a> after a three-season run. He also spent four years playing for the Phoenix Suns<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the Nuggets, Johnson is posting 11.8 points per game (46.7% FG, 42.7% 3PT), 3.6 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game.<\/p>\n

Johnson told reporters after the Warriors game that he felt comfortable enough to return to the game if needed. A comfortable lead gave Johnson and the Nuggets enough comfort to call it a night.<\/p>\n

Going against the Jazz, the Nuggets are facing a 21-55 team. Utah is riding a six-game losing streak, and they have just one win over the last 10 games.<\/p>\n

Only the Sacramento Kings<\/a> rank lower than the Jazz. Sacramento is 19-57 on the year.<\/p>\n

As for the Nuggets, they are 48-28. Denver clinched the playoffs on Tuesday night, along with the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>, who hold a 2.0-game lead over the Nuggets for the third seed.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets and the Jazz are slated for a 9 PM ET tip on Wednesday night. Denver will then close out the week with a tough Saturday afternoon matchup against the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> this weekend.<\/p>\n
