After missing the Los Angeles Lakers\u2019 120-101 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday for accumulating 16 technical fouls, Luka Don\u010di\u0107 returned to drop 42 points as the Lakers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 127-113 last night.<\/p>\n
This victory clinched a playoff spot for Los Angeles and closed out March, where the Lakers went 15-2, climbing from the six seed to the three seed in the Western Conference.<\/p>\n
Throughout the month, Don\u010di\u0107 averaged 37.5 PPG, won Western Conference Player of the Week twice and became one of 10 players ever to score 600 points in a single month.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think Luka has had as good of a month as anybody that I can remember in the modern NBA, at least since I\u2019ve been part of it,\u201d Lakers Head Coach JJ Redick said.<\/p>\n
