Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke was arrested at 1:03 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 1, and booked in Cross County, Arkansas, according to The Commercial Appeal\u2019s Damichael Cole and Lucas Finton. He\u2019s being held on a Civil Investigative Demand with the Cross County sheriff\u2019s department.<\/p>\n
Clarke is being charged with trafficking an unidentified controlled substance, possession of an unidentified controlled substance, fleeing officers in a vehicle over the speed limit, and improper passing.<\/p>\n
The former Gonzaga Bulldog was originally out for the first 26 games of the NBA\u2019s 2025-26 season while recovering from surgery on his right knee. He only played two games in December and then sustained a right calf strain.<\/p>\n

The Memphis organization shut him down once again on March 24. Clarke averaged 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in his two appearances for the Grizzlies this season.<\/p>\n
