According to his agent, Ryan Murphy, redshirt freshman guard Cade Orness has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Orness becomes the first Gonzaga Bulldog from the 2025-26 roster to do so.<\/p>\n
The portal officially opens up the day after the national championship on Tuesday, April 7, and will be open for 15 days until April 26.<\/p>\n
The former walk-on turned scholarship player appeared in eight games for the Zags. Orness finished with three points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal in 20 minutes logged.<\/p>\n

At 6-5 and 185 pounds, he hails from Poulsbo, Washington, and played at North Kitsap High School. Orness is the Vikings\u2019 all-time leading scorer with 1,821 career points.<\/p>\n
