Just as Peyton Watson was getting settled in with the Denver Nuggets<\/a> after missing a chunk of time, the veteran forward is back to dealing with a setback.<\/p>\n

During the Nuggets\u2019 Wednesday, April 1, win over the Utah Jazz<\/a>, Watson was taken out of the game due to hamstring tightness.<\/p>\n

When the Nuggets announced he was getting evaluated, Watson was officially ruled as questionable to return. The game concluded, and Watson did not return.<\/p>\n

The veteran finished the game after nine minutes played. Watson shot 3-5 from the field to score six points. He also had three rebounds before checking out for the night.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know anything yet,\u201d Adelman said<\/a>. \u201cThis has just been\u2026 It\u2019s just every night it seems like. We\u2019re just trying to get Peyton in a rhythm. As far as I know, it was just discomfort.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Watson played in 33 minutes against the New York Knicks<\/a> on February 4, he missed over one month of action.<\/p>\n

The veteran forward returned to the court on March 22 to face the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While Watson got the next day off against the Phoenix Suns<\/a>, he returned to the court for the following outing against the Dallas Mavericks. He played in three straight games before checking in for his fourth on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Leading up to Wednesday\u2019s action, Watson had 53 games under his belt this year.<\/p>\n

The veteran is averaging 14.8 points per game, while coming down with 4.9 rebounds per game, and dishing out 2.1 assists per game.<\/p>\n

Watson is making 49.0% of his shots from the field and hitting on 41.5% of his attempts from three.<\/p>\n

The fourth-year veteran is having a strong year individually. The Nuggets are proving to be legitimate contenders as a team.<\/p>\n

Following Wednesday\u2019s win, the Nuggets now have seven wins in a row. They are 8-2 over the last 10 games, and improved to 49-28.<\/p>\n

The Nuggets are the fourth seed in the Western Conference. They trail the Los Angeles Lakers by 1.5 games and have a 1.5-game lead over the Houston Rockets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next up, the Nuggets have the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> on the schedule. They are slated for a 3 PM ET tip-off on Saturday, 3 PM ET.<\/p>\n
