Giannis Antetokounmpo<\/a> remains one of NBA<\/a>\u2019s most productive players even as the Milwaukee Bucks<\/a>\u2019 season has unraveled. He is averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 62.4% from the field. The team, meanwhile, entered Wednesday at 30-45 and is already out of postseason contention, currently 11th in the East.<\/p>\n

The situation has kept Antetokounmpo at the center of leaguewide trade chatter, especially around the Golden State Warriors<\/a>. ESPN reported in late January that the Warriors were willing to include Draymond Green<\/a> in discussions tied to a possible pursuit for the Greek Freak.<\/p>\n

Green addressed that speculation this week by saying he understood the business and would not have wanted to play for Milwaukee. Even Stephen Curry<\/a> chimed in on that. \u201cI didn’t spend time on the conversation,\u201d he told ESPN’s Anthony Slater. \u201cBut I guess Giannis is the only one that would’ve made sense.”<\/p>\n

Despite the uncertainty on the court, Antetokounmpo is making moves away from it. The Bucks star announced he is taking an equity stake in IM8, a nutrition and supplement company co-founded by health-sciences firm Prenetics and soccer legend David Beckham.<\/p>\n

The company, launched in December 2024, focuses on products designed to improve daily health routines and says it has already reached $100 million in annualized revenue within 11 months.<\/p>\n

Antetokounmpo himself bragged that he only partners with companies he believes in and that’s why he announced his decision to buy the shares. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the move makes him both a partner in IM8 and a shareholder in Nasdaq-listed Prenetics.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can open doors in markets and communities that IM8 might not reach on their own,\u201d he said<\/a>. \u201cBut more than being a face, I want to be a voice inside the company too.”<\/p>\n
