Knueppel has now set the Hornets franchise record for single-season three-pointers made, following his performance in Thursday&#8217;s win over the Phoenix Suns.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6g\">Knueppel needed just four threes heading into the game to move ahead of Hornets legend and player enhancement coach Kemba Walker, who set the record at 260 3PM during the 2018-19 season. The team didn\u2019t like when I said \u2018Kemba who?\u2019 after the game, but love Kemba, love the standard and the bar he set, but it was really cool to see Kon throughout the year and just continue to get better and better,&#8221; Hornets head coach Charles Lee explained. &#8220;He\u2019s super humble, and recognized all of his teammates and all of the work they did to help put him in good positions. Really happy for him, it\u2019s great.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"71\">Hornets forward Miles Bridges is the only remaining player on the team from Kemba&#8217;s final season with the Hornets and the year Walker set the record at 260.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"74\">\u201cIt\u2019s crazy because Kemba was so dominant during that time; he was Third-Team All-NBA.
