Joel Embiid had a hilarious take on the Pirates’ season opener <\/p>\n

After facing another potential matchup without Joel Embiid in the lineup, the Philadelphia 76ers revealed good news on the injury report front ahead of their clash against the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Joel Embiid has been upgraded on the report.<\/p>\n

When the Sixers initially submitted their injury report on Thursday night, Embiid was listed as doubtful.<\/p>\n

On Friday afternoon, the Sixers upgraded him to probable, signaling he has a strong chance of making his return.<\/p>\n

Since before the All-Star break, Embiid has been dealing with numerous setbacks.<\/p>\n

Before going on the break, the star center was dealing with knee soreness. He missed five games in a row. While Embiid was back for a two-game stretch in late February, the star big man suffered an oblique strain against the Miami Heat<\/a> on February 26.<\/p>\n

That fired up a 13-game absence for Embiid.<\/p>\n

On March 25, Embiid returned to the court to face the Chicago Bulls. He played in the next two games against the Charlotte Hornets<\/a> and the Miami Heat as well.<\/p>\n

When the Sixers visited the Wizards on Wednesday, the team ruled him out with an illness. If all goes right, Embiid will be back on the court to face the Timberwolves on Friday, April 3.<\/p>\n

The Sixers and the Timberwolves tip off at 7 PM ET.<\/p>\n
