The Arizona coach isn\u2019t budging despite rumors he could leave the Wildcats for the vacant North Carolina job.<\/p>\n
All along, Lloyd has said his only focus is on leading top-seeded Arizona to a national championship, offering no hints about his future plans.<\/p>\n
That didn\u2019t change Thursday.<\/p>\n
\u201cListen, I\u2019ve got my full focus on this team. Nothing is distracting me,\u201d Lloyd said. \u201cThat\u2019s just how I\u2019ve decided to approach it.\u201cI\u2019m a simple guy. I am kind of just one thing at a time. I\u2019m not a multitasker. You can ask my wife. I\u2019m 100 percent locked in on Arizona basketball right now, and I\u2019m excited to see what this team can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Arizona is back in the Final Four for the first time in 25 years. Lloyd, the former Gonzaga assistant coach, has led the Wildcats to a 145-38 record in five seasons.<\/p>\n
Lloyd drew headlines last weekend after Arizona won the West Region, saying, \u201cArizona is going to have another good coach after me. I promise you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Pressed on the matter earlier this week, Lloyd became somewhat combative.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou might call them \u2018distractions,\u2019 but it\u2019s because you\u2019re distracted,\u201d he told reporters. \u201cThat doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m distracted or we\u2019re distracted.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lloyd has yet to say he\u2019s not interested in the North Carolina job or that he will return to Arizona.<\/p>\n

Michigan point guard Elliot Cadeau was taken to a hospital Wednesday before the Wolverines left for the Final Four after suffering an allergic reaction from accidental nut exposure.<\/p>\n
The junior was with the team Thursday, expected to practice later and play Saturday against Arizona in a matchup of No. 1 seeds. He called it \u201cminor,\u201d not nearly as bad as a similar allergic reaction he had as a kid.<\/p>\n
\u201cVery unfortunate for him to have to go through that. If it\u2019s the worst thing that happens to us, then we\u2019re very blessed,\u201d Michigan coach Dusty May said.<\/p>\n
