The Clippers played the entire game in slow motion, with their ball movement being nonexistent and stagnant. Following this near 20-point loss, the Clippers fell to the 9th seed in the Western Conference, sandwiched between the Trail Blazers and the Warriors.

Clippers Horrid Performance

The Clippers did not play like the team that clawed its way back into playoff relevancy. It seems as if they reverted to their former selves with their lack of energy and dependence on Kawhi Leonard. Leonard was once again the best player on the team with 24 points while every other teammate was under 20 points by the end of the night.

The worst offender for Los Angeles was center Brook Lopez. The 38-year-old veteran is showing his age with a six-point performance in 24 minutes of playing time. His presence on the court was hurting the Clips to a high enough degree that Coach Ty Lue decided to roll out a small-ball lineup to finish the game.

Spurs Shooting Perfection Spurs point guard De’Aaron Fox led the team in points. Guards De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle finished the night with 22 and 20 points, respectively. The outlier on the court was the Spurs’ dominance behind the three-point line. San Antonio made 38.7% of their three-point attempts, compared to Los Angeles’s 18.5%. They also made 10 more defensive rebounds than LA, finishing with a total of 48 to the Clippers 38 total rebounds.

The Spurs were leaning on the verge of a major upset, but the team focused as Finals contenders should in every quarter.

End Of My Clippers Rant

Thursday night’s loss echoed the sentiment felt around this season’s Clippers squad: No Kawhi on the court equals no wins. After the bashing that occurred in last night’s game, the Spurs made it clear why they’re on the heels of Oklahoma City for the first seed.

The Clippers’ next game is scheduled against the Sacramento Kings on April 5th.

The Los Angeles Clippers took another hard loss this week, failing to capitalize on San Antonio superstar Victor…

[3789
7,559,4034,192,4032,251,135,4033,4031,6
0":"post-698028","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-los-angeles-clippers","8":"tag-basketball","9":"tag-clippers","10":"tag-la","11":"tag-la-clippers","12":"tag-laclippers","13":"tag-los-angeles","14":"tag-los-angeles-clippers","15":"tag-losangeles","16":"tag-losangelesclippers","17":"tag-nba
["GET
