The Denver Nuggets<\/a> and San Antonio Spurs<\/a> are set to play in a key game in the final stretch of the regular season on Saturday, April 4, on Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n

Before the game, it was announced that Aaron Gordon<\/a> of the Nuggets would be on a minutes restriction for the contest.<\/a><\/p>\n

Regardless, in the lead-up to the showdown between two of the top teams in the West, and a massive center matchup between Nikola Jokic<\/a> and Victor Wembanyama<\/a>, Denver\u2019s starting lineup<\/a> and final injury report for the game were announced.<\/p>\n

Denver Nuggets Starting Lineup vs Spurs<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Nuggets took to social media to announce <\/a>the starting lineup against the Spurs over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Jamal Murray<\/a>, Christian Braun<\/a>, Cam Johnson<\/a>, Aaron Gordon<\/a>, and Nikola Jokic<\/a> all got the nod to be starters by head coach David Adelman.<\/p>\n

This is a group Adelman and the Nuggets have been using for a lot of the season. However, with all the injuries they\u2019ve had, especially for Gordon, as well as the previously long-term absence of Jokic, they haven\u2019t been able to start this group often.<\/p>\n

Regardless, this is the ideal starting lineup for Denver. While they have faced massive injury concerns for much of the season, they now have all their top players healthy, for the most part, as their injury report shows.<\/p>\n

Nuggets Injury Report\"Peyton<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Nuggets\u2019 injury report was finalized for the game<\/a> against San Antonio.<\/p>\n

Peyton Watson<\/a>, Spencer Jones<\/a>, and Zeke Nnaji<\/a> have been ruled out for the game.<\/p>\n

Both Watson and Jones are sidelined with hamstring strains. Nnaji\u00a0won\u2019t play due to a hip sprain.<\/p>\n

However, what is good news for Denver is that Tim Hardaway<\/a> was taken off the injury report just an hour before the contest.<\/p>\n

He was previously probable with left knee soreness, but has since been upgraded<\/a> to available for the game.<\/p>\n

The Spurs do not have any of their main contributors listed on the injury report.<\/p>\n

In addition to the injury report, the Nuggets announced that Gordon would be on a minutes restriction for the game. The star forward has been dealing with several major injuries this season, and will likely not play anything more than his 27.6 minutes per game average across this year.<\/p>\n

In 33 games, Gordon is averaging 16.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 49.5% shooting this season for the Nuggets. Concerning hamstring and calf injuries have sidelined him recently.<\/p>\n

Before the big game against the Spurs, Denver is 49-28 and fourth in the\u00a0Western Conference standings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

They are currently in a close race with the Los Angeles Lakers<\/a>,\u00a0Houston Rockets<\/a>, and\u00a0Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs, but have the advantage over the latter two teams right now.<\/p>\n

In the matchup that is highlighted by Jokic vs. Wembanyama, Denver is looking to win their eighth game in a row. However, San Antonio is on the hunt for their 12th in a row, as both have been two of the hottest teams in the NBA<\/a> in the final stretch of the regular season.<\/p>\n
