Vucevic will be reevaluated in three to four weeks,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/story\/_\/id\/48127036\/celtics-rule-nikola-vucevic-fractured-right-finger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external nofollow\">Jamal Collier wrote for ESPN<\/a> in early March after he suffered the injury. \u201cThe injury occurred early in Friday night\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nba\/game\/_\/gameId\/401810763\/mavericks-celtics\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">120-100 win<\/a>\u00a0over the\u00a0<a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" title=\"Dallas Mavericks\" href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nba\/dallas-mavericks\/\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"214919\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas Mavericks<\/a>, with Vucevic departing two minutes into the first quarter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/celtics\/status\/2040520129977471267\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external nofollow\">latest injury update<\/a>, Vucevic appears to be ramping up for a return.<\/p>\n<p>The latest update comes after Vucevic was seen working out for Boston, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NoaDalzell\/status\/2039368405409481142\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external nofollow\">participating in an on-court workout<\/a> before the team\u2019s dominant win over the <a href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nba\/miami-heat\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miami Heat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, head coach Joe Mazzulla recently offered an update on the center.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s getting better, as you saw in the workout today,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.yahoo.com\/articles\/celtics-good-injury-news-major-152442027.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external nofollow\">Mazzulla said a few days ago<\/a>. \u201cThe most important thing is that he feels 100%. When he\u2019s ready, he\u2019ll come back, and we just want him back when he\u2019s ready to go. He\u2019s going to help us \u2014 we obviously see the impact that he has on us as a player, especially last time we played Miami, he was huge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In those 12 games for the Celtics, Vucevic averaged 10.4 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists on 44.5% shooting in just 21.7 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Besides Vucevic, the team does not have any other players currently <a href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nba\/boston-celtics\/#injury_report\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">listed on the injury report.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Boston Celtics Make Roster Move<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Vucevic injury update, the latest news out of Boston is that the team is signing <a href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/nba\/player\/ron-harper\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ron Harper Jr.<\/a> to a two-year contract.<\/p>\n<p>Per Shams Charania, after spending time in the G-League this year for the Celtics, he\u2019s officially been given a full-time contract.<\/p>\n<p>The Boston Celtics are signing two-way wing Ron Harper Jr. to a new two-year deal, agent Drew Gross of WME Basketball tells ESPN.
