The Detroit Pistons<\/a> are set to play against the Philadelphia 76ers<\/a> on Saturday, April 4, in a game that, based on the latest Jalen Duren<\/a> injury update, will feature the All-Star big man.<\/p>\n

Despite Duren being questionable<\/a> for much of the day, reportedly dealing with an illness, the Pistons announced he would suit up against the 76ers.<\/p>\n

Before the game, Detroit also announced its starting lineup<\/a> and final injury report<\/a> for the game, coming amid a recent Cade Cunningham<\/a> injury update.<\/p>\n

Postseason scenario for Saturday, April 4 \u2b07\ufe0f <\/p>\n

The Pistons remain first in the East, and with a win, will clinch the top seed<\/a> in the conference for the playoffs. It would be the first time the team has accomplished that feat in 19 years.<\/p>\n

Pistons Starting Lineup<\/p>\n

In the lead-up to the Pistons vs. 76ers game, Detroit took to social media to announce its starting lineup for Saturday.<\/p>\n

Daniss Jenkins<\/a>, Duncan Robinson<\/a>, Ausar Thompson<\/a>, Tobias Harris<\/a>, and Jalen Duren were all named starters by head coach JB Bickerstaff.<\/p>\n

This is not a typical starting lineup used by the Pistons, however, with the injuries the team is facing, along with the uncertain status of a few players soon before tipoff<\/a>, it\u2019s a group they\u2019ll have to go with against Philadelphia.<\/p>\n

Detroit has been one of the best defensive teams in the NBA<\/a> this season, and with the recent rise of Jenkins with Cunningham out<\/a>, they have remained that way. Jenkins has elevated his play as the team\u2019s new starting point guard while the franchise star remains out.<\/p>\n

Jalen Duren And Cade Cunningham Injury Updates\"Detroit<\/p>\n

Duren was previously questionable for much of Saturday, reportedly dealing with an illness. However, before the game, Bickerstaff said that he would suit up.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Having Duren available is big news for the Pistons, as the team is still missing Cunningham, who remains on the injury report over the weekend.<\/p>\n

The guard was sidelined in mid-March with a collapsed lung<\/a>, and was expected to miss a decent amount of time.<\/p>\n

The latest injury update signals Cunningham will be re-evaluated sometime next week, but Detroit has always been hopeful he would return for the playoffs. The star has been seen at the facility and around the team, but an official return date has yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Pistons said Cunningham is working to return to the court, is being supervised by doctors and Detroit\u2019s medical and performance staff and will be reevaluated in one week,\u201d Jamal Collier of ESPN wrote on April 2<\/a>. \u201cHe has been sidelined since March 19, but he has rejoined the team in street clothes recently, sitting on the bench for its two most recent home games this week for the first time since the injury.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cunningham was in the NBA MVP race, but has since become ineligible for any end-of-season awards.<\/a><\/p>\n

Pistons Injury Report\"Detroit<\/p>\n

Before the game, the Pistons had several players listed as either questionable or probable for the game against the 76ers on Saturday.<\/p>\n

However, just 30 minutes before tipoff, Detroit revealed that most of those players had been upgraded. That group included Duren, Harris, Chaz Lanier<\/a>, and Marcus Sasser<\/a>, all of whom are now available for the game.<\/p>\n

Despite that, the Pistons will be without Isaiah Stewart<\/a> for the contest, as he continues to recover<\/a> from a left calf strain suffered a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

Detroit is first in the East with a 56-21 record.<\/a> They have already clinched the playoffs, divisional title, and will clinch the top seed for the postseason with a win on Saturday over the 76ers.<\/p>\n
